چکیده

Lodging affects grain quality and yield in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is difficult to breed for because its sporadic incidence laborious protocols measure lodging traits. Thus, developing molecular markers these traits can increase selection efficiency breeding programs. The aim of this article identify quantitative trait loci (QTL) associated with stem/anchorage strength leverage (lodging traits) a doubled-haploid population UK bread Avalon × Cadenza. Field experiments were conducted the during 2012–2013 near High Mowthorpe 2013–2014 at Sutton Bonington. Phenotypic genetic analysis indicated significant variation all Stem (diameter, wall width, material strength) (plant height) highly heritable (0.64–0.95), whereas anchorage (root plate spread structural rooting depth) ear number per plant (leverage trait) less (0.21–0.33). This study identified 18 QTL chromosomes 1D, 2B, 2D, 3A, 3B, 4A, 4D, 5B, 6B. Two stem on chromosome 1D 3B explaining 49.6% total phenotypic (PVE) are estimated reduce risk shortening height by 12 cm. One root 5B 22.4% PVE could resistance.

Quantitative trait loci mapping of panicle traits in rice

In this study 90 individuals of recombinant inbred lines (RILs) were developed by crossing subspecies of japonica rice cultivar, ‘Nagdong’ and an indica type cultivar, ‘Cheongcheong’. These individuals were used to identify the quantitative trait loci of panicle traits using SSR markers. A genetic linkage map was constructed using one hundred fifty four simple sequence repeat ...

Quantitative trait loci for body weight and carcass traits in Japanese quail

Body weight (BW) and carcass traits are complex and important economic traits that may benefit from the implementation of MAS. The objective of the current study was to identify QTL associated with BW and carcass traits in an experimental half-sib cross of Japanese quails selected for BW at 4 weeks of age. Body weight and carcass traits were measured in the F2 population. Total F2 individuals a...

Mapping quantitative trait loci controlling agronomic traits in the spring wheat cross RL4452x'AC Domain'.

Relatively little is known about the genetic control of agronomic traits in common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) compared with traits that follow Mendelian segregation patterns. A doubled-haploid population was generated from the cross RL4452x'AC Domain' to study the inheritance of the agronomic traits: plant height, time to maturity, lodging, grain yield, test weight, and 1000-grain weight. Thi...
